When the Bundesliga announced all games would be played in front of empty stands due to COVID-19, with no attendance whatsoever, fans didn’t let that stop them. Football heads from Germany and around the world came together and showed their support on Facebook football groups. We asked real football fans from across the country to sing the classic stadium chant ‘Marmor Stein Und Eisen Bricht’ from their homes, gardens and balconies. A declaration of love for the game and a homage to the people’s resilience through the crisis.
